TO LORD GEORGE ROBERTSON SECRETARY GENERAL OF THE NATO
ON THE RUSSIAN GENOCIDE IN THE CHECHEN REPUBLIC OF ICHKERIA
Vilnius 27 February 2003
We welcome your arrival in Vilnius to discuss the
issues of great importance.
We would like to draw your attention to more than the
eighth year Russian colonial war and genocide in the Chechen Republic of
Ichkeria and ask you to take all measures possible:
1. so that Russia stops war action;
2. so that Russia acts according to Peace treaty of 12 May 1997 signed by
presidents of Russian Federation and the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria, Mr.
Boris Eltcin and Mr. Aslan Maskhadov;
3. so that Russia starts peace negotiations with legal authorities of the
Chechen Republic of Ichkeria elected in January 1997 under monitoring of the
OSCE.
